Walk it first
We walk the floor with you, agree what stays, and flag anything that needs a survey before it is touched.
Demolition & Stripout service
Interiors taken back to structure, by hand, with everything segregated as it comes out rather than sorted afterwards.
What's soft strip?
A soft strip is everything that is not structure: partitions, ceilings, floor coverings, fixtures, services and fit-out, taken out and taken away so the building is back to its frame and ready for the next stage. It is hand work, and it is the part of a job where the difference between a good contractor and a cheap one shows up on the waste transfer notes.
We segregate at the point of removal. Timber, metals, plasterboard, ceiling tile and general waste go into separate streams as they come out of the building, because separating a mixed skip afterwards is expensive, slow and mostly does not happen. That is what keeps the recycling rate up and the disposal cost down, and it is why we can tell you where the material went rather than guessing.
Strip-outs often run in buildings that are still occupied or still trading. We work to agreed hours, keep the dust and noise contained, protect the routes we use, and leave the shared parts of the building as we found them at the end of each shift.
Our process
We walk the floor with you, agree what stays, and flag anything that needs a survey before it is touched.
Routes, lifts and retained finishes are protected, and services are isolated by the right trade before anything comes out.
Out by hand and into separate streams as it goes, so the recycling happens on site rather than at a sorting facility.
Swept, clear and ready for the next trade, with the transfer notes showing what left and where it went.
