Cookies
Last updated 27 October 2026
Cookies are small files a website can save in your browser. This website does not set any for visitors, so there is nothing to accept or turn off.
What we checked
On 26 October 2026 we went through the site as a visitor would: pages scrolled, photos opened in the slideshow and a video played. Afterwards:
- no cookies had been set
- nothing had been saved in the browser's local or session storage
- the only places the browser had contacted were this website and Sanity's image service (cdn.sanity.io), which serves our photos and videos and set no cookies
That means no analytics, no advertising and no social media trackers. Our fonts are served from this website, not from Google or anyone else. The share button uses your own phone's or computer's share menu, not a social media script.
Links that leave the site
The directions link on the contact page opens Google Maps in a new tab. Nothing from Google loads on our pages, but once you are on Google Maps, Google's own cookie policy applies.
Two exceptions, neither for visitors
- A security check. Our hosting provider, Vercel, can show a brief check to traffic that looks automated. If it ever shows it to you, passing it sets one strictly necessary cookie (named
_vcrcs) so you are not asked again straight away. - The content editor. R.E.B staff who sign in to edit the website, at /studio, use cookies and browser storage that keep them signed in and let them preview changes. These are only set for people who sign in.
Strictly necessary cookies like these do not need your consent under UK law, which is why there is no cookie banner.
If this changes
If we add analytics or anything else that uses cookies, we will update this page first, and ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary. The date at the top shows when this page last changed. How we handle the information you send us is on the privacy page.
