R.E.B Group has been appointed to undertake strip-out and demolition works to a live rooftop plant room on Weymouth Street, London.
The works include the controlled strip-out and demolition of existing plant room elements, including breaking out concrete plinths and associated structures.
Project delivery
Due to the project taking place within a live rooftop environment, the works will be carefully planned and coordinated to maintain safe access and minimise disruption throughout the programme.
The project is planned to be delivered in two phases over approximately 5–6 weeks, with a resource allowance of 125 man-days. Access for deliveries will be via Wimpole Mews, with the programme start subject to completion of the required scaffolding.
Pre-construction planning includes a dedicated pre-start meeting, followed by RFIs and confirmation of the required asbestos survey for the site.
